From one photographer to another…
Design is hard.
Before becoming a designer and founding House of W, I was Whit the photographer. My days were spent capturing the way every couple was transfixed by their connection. Creating special moments for them to keep, filled my cup — but never all the way. Something was missing and I didn’t know what that “thing” was until I started designing. The passion I found through design gave me the confidence to claim my creative talents and build a life through them wholeheartedly.
Creating a visual identity that is a cohesive extension of your art, personality, and approach can feel like a lot of pressure. But it’s SO important. It’s what introduces you to clients and creates a relationship with them, even before you exchange hellos.
Here’s the good news, I design visuals so you can focus on what you love. And lucky for me, design is what I love. How f&*king cool is it that our passions have collided like this?!
