Based in the sun-kissed landscapes of Orange County, California, Lindsay specializes in storytelling through maternity and family photography, creating heartfelt images for free-spirited mamas and their families. Her work encapsulates the tender moments that weave together the stories of love, connection, and the beauty of life’s fleeting phases.
In addition to her family-focused work, we also crafted a distinct brand identity for the elopement side of her business, ensuring that her unique approach to both genres shines through.
Creating Emotive Branding
Lindsay envisioned a brand that exudes a Jane Austen romantic and free-spirited vibe, perfectly aligning with her artistic vision. Our mission was to translate this romantic aesthetic into an emotive brand design that resonates deeply with her audience.
For her color palette, we chose a soothing neutral base with cool-toned shades that evoke feelings of calmness and inspiration. The primary color—a muted gray-green—serves as a serene backdrop, while gentle pops of misty periwinkle blue add an ethereal touch. Deep brown and clay tones ground the palette, echoing the natural beauty found in both the wildflowers of California and the heartwarming moments Lindsay captures.
Typography with Heart
In crafting Lindsay’s typography, we selected a handwritten font for her main logo, characterized by elegant curves and flicks that evoke a romantic, letter-worn feel. This choice reflects the personal touch that Lindsay brings to her photography. For her secondary font, we opted for a sleek, strong yet thin typeface that complements the main font beautifully, providing a modern balance to the romantic elements.
